At the end of February, 2016, Dr. Deed Harrison, President of both Chiropractic BioPhysics® (CBP®) Technique and Chiropractic BioPhysics® NonProfit, Inc., made a special trip down to Hayward, CA to visit Life Chiropractic College West (LCCW). The purpose of Dr. Harrison’s trip was to present LCCW with a donation of $50,000 to from Chiropractic BioPhysics® Non Profit, Inc. LCCW is the only Chiropractic College in North America to offer two courses in CBP® Technique principles of practice to their students. According to Dr. Harrison: “It makes sense for CBP® NP to support LCCW in their efforts to educate and train their attending students in the current science and techniques for spinal corrective procedures utilized in CBP Technique.”

Dr. Harrison presented the donation on behalf of the 13 CBP® NP board members and the supporting doctor members of CBP NP. Dr. Harrison acknowledges, “While CBP NP board and practicing Chiropractic donating members are a small group, we are a dedicated and hard working organization that is willing to support research and education for the future of the Chiropractic profession. I thank all of the donating doctor, student, and lay person members of CBP NP that made this donation possible”.

Accepting the donation on behalf of LCCW was President Dr. Brian Kelly who stated, “The donation will be used for a state of the art CBP adjusting suite for our brand new outpatient care facility at Life West”. Dr. Kelly continued with, “We understand that this donation is to honor Dr. Deed’s late father and founder of CBP NP, Dr. Donald D. Harrison, DC, PhD, MSE, and the tradition of Chiropractic excellence at Life West. It is a privilege to be able to memorialize Dr. Donald Harrison’s contributions to Chiropractic at the Life West out patient center.”
