Board Members

Dr Deed Harrison, DC

President | Eagle, ID

Deed E. Harrison, D.C., graduated from Life-West Chiropractic College in 1996. Dr. Harrison has developed and researched original spinal rehabilitation procedures and has lectured to thousands of Chiropractors at nearly 1000 educational conferences around the world. He has authored (co-authored) approximately 234 peer-reviewed spine related publications, 7 spine textbooks, and numerous conference proceedings. He is a highly respected chiropractic researcher and authority in today’s profession.

Dr. Harrison is a manuscript reviewer for several top-tier peer-reviewed Spine journals including: Spine, Journal of Clinical Medicine, PloS One, Clinical Biomechanics, Clinical Anatomy, Archives of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, the European Spine Journal, European Journal of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, BMC Complimentary Alternative Medicine, and BMC Musculo-Skeletal Disorders. Additionally, Dr. Harrison is a Guest Editor for two Special Issues on spine rehabilitation for the Journal of Clinical Medicine.

Additionally, Dr. Harrison is a past member to the International Society for the Study of the Lumbar Spine (ISSLS), is a former International Chiropractors Association’s (ICA) Nevada State Assembly Representative member, and is the acting Chair of the PCCRP Chiropractic Radiography Guidelines. He formerly held a position on the Chiropractic Physicians Board of Nevada. Currently, Dr. Harrison is the President / CEO of Chiropractic BioPhysics® (CBP®)Technique & Seminars and is the President of CBP NonProfit, Inc. – a spinal research foundation.

Lastly, he directs and owns a large chiropractic rehabilitation and education facility in Eagle, ID, USA called the Ideal Spine Health Center.

Joe Betz, DC

Vice President | Meridian, ID

In addition to practicing full-time, Dr. Betz is active in chiropractic politics as a member of the board of directors for the International Chiropractors Association (ICA) and the Foundation for the Advancement of Chiropractic Tenets and Science (FACTS). He is also the current Vice President of both the Idaho Association of Chiropractic Physicians (IACP) and Chiropractic BioPhysics® Non-Profit.

He has co-authored many papers in the peer-reviewed literature in journals such as The Journal of Manipulative and Physiological Therapeutics, European Spine Journal, The Journal of Rehabilitation Research and Development and The Journal of Vertebral Subluxation Research. He is Chairman of the ICA’s Guidelines Committee and is one of the principal investigators for the PCCRP X-Ray Guidelines, the ICA Best Practice Guidelines and the ICA of California Whiplash Guidelines. He also co-authored several chapters for a chiropractic textbook on “Structural Rehabilitation” of the lumbar spine.

Dr. Joe Betz has received many awards including Researcher of the Year for CBP NonProfit and Chiropractor of the Year for both CBP NonProfit as well as the Idaho Association of Chiropractic Physicians.

Lenny Siskin, BS, DC

Dr. Leonard Siskin graduated Suma cum laude from Life University in 1998 and has been in private practice in Green Brook, NJ since 1999. Dr. Siskin is the current secretary of Chiropractic Biophysics Nonprofit. Dr. Siskin held a board seat for the Council of NJ Chiropractor region of the Association of NJ Chiropractors (ANJC) from its inception through 2011 where he participated in various committees. From 2000-2013 He was co-owner of Promote Chiropractic, Inc., which is now affiliated with Posture Correction Tools and is a certified CBP® fellow. Dr. Siskin has been published in the American Journal of Clinical Chiropractic as well as in the European Journal of Spine. From 2006-present, Dr. Siskin has served as the Vice-Chair and database engineer for the Best Practices and Practice Guidelines of the International Chiropractors Association. He is a contributing author for the Practicing Chiropractors Committee on Radiologic Protocols and was co-awarded CBP chiropractor of the year in 2007. Dr. Siskin has been certified by several chiropractic colleges to teach continuing education in chiropractic seminars on subjects of clinical biomechanics, posture, chiropractic research, and chiropractic risk management.

Jason Miller

Jason Miller, DC

Denver, CO

Dr. Jason Miller, graduated Magna Cum Laude from Life Chiropractic College West in 2007. He is the co-founder of both PostureWorks and its sister health center NutraWorks, is a well-respected chiropractic clinician and is an advanced certified Chiropractic BioPhysics practitioner and instructor for Chiropractic BioPhysics Seminars

As a wellness and prevention based doctor, he is dedicated to being both a teacher and a student for the rest of his professional life. Dr. Miller takes a proactive stance towards health and believes the most important aspect of treating patients is educating them about the natural and effective methods of preventing disease before it begins.

Dr. Miller’s passion for teaching others and elevating the standard of care within the field of chiropractic has lead him to serve as a part time faculty member of Life Chiropractic College West, to provide guest lectures at all three Palmer Chiropractic Colleges and at Life University and he is regularly asked to guest lecture for UCSF’s Medical School, Pharmacy School and for their Wellness Committee.

Joseph Ferrantelli, BS, DC

New Port Richey, Florida

Dr. Joe Ferrantelli is the Chief Technology Officer for Chiropractic BioPhysics Technique and CEO of PostureCo; a company that develops proprietary technology-software for radiographic and postural analysis.

Dr. Ferrantelli is a Certified Instructor for CBP® Seminars and has co-authored manuscripts published in numerous journals. He is contributing author and executive committee member for the ICA Best Practices and Practice Guidelines, and the Practicing Chiropractors’ Committee on Radiology Protocols document.

Tim Norton, DC

Shoreline, Washington

Dr. Norton grew up in the Shoreline area before attending Life Chiropractic College West in California. In 1996, he graduated with highest honors – Summa Cum Laude. Dr. Norton has created a family practice with a contemporary, open, and friendly environment. Using a “team” approach, he works with his patients to achieve their health goals.

Dr. Norton is a Distinguished Fellow of Chiropractic Biophysics (CBP) / Advanced Certified CBP, as well as a highly respected CBP Instructor. He has extensive post-graduate training in:

  • Procedures and rational for spinal modeling and correction
  • Biomechanical principles of the spine
  • Neurology, posture, and systemic health
  • Cervical and lumbar rehabilitation
  • Chiropractic O.B./pediatric care
  • Extremity adjusting
  • Whiplash and spinal trauma

Dr. Norton was the recipient of the Chiropractic Biophysics Student of the Year Award in 1995 and the Chiropractic Biophysics Non-profit Researcher of the Year Award in 2023. He has published multiple peer reviewed articles in topics of pediatrics, auto injuries, and spinal remodeling. Dr. Norton is also a certified Industrial Injury Prevention Consultant for two major airlines as well as local businesses. He is a member of the Washington State Chiropractic Association, The International Chiropractic Association, a past President of the Shoreline Chamber of Commerce and sits on the CBP Non-profit board of directors.

Curtis Fedorchuk, DC

Cumming, Georgia

Graduated from Life University Chiropractic College in 2002. He is a researcher, public speaker, and clinician. Dr. Fedorchuk has researched spinal health, physiology, and pathology and spinal rehabilitation procedures and has lectured to Chiropractors and other Physicians at educational and research conferences. He has authored approximately 40 peer-reviewed spine-related publications and presented at peer-reviewed conference proceedings where, over the years, he has won Researcher of the Year on five separate occasions from three different research organizations. He is a highly respected chiropractor and researcher and has collaborated on projects with academic institutions including Emory University and University of Colorado Boulder.

Dr. Fedorchuk is or has been a manuscript reviewer for over a dozen peer-reviewed research journals in the medical, chiropractic and PT fields.

Additionally, Dr. Fedorchuk is or has been a member of the International Chiropractic Association (ICA), Georgia Council of Chiropractic (GCC), Chiropractic BioPhysics® (CBP®) Nonprofit, and the Foundation for Vertebral Subluxation (FVS).

Dr. Fedorchuk is a contributing member to the International Chiropractic Association Best Practices treatment guidelines. He is a Board Member of CBP® Nonprofit and the President of ISHP Nonprofit, a spinal research institute.

Dr. Fedorchuk is the senior Chiropractor and clinic director at Better Health by Design in Cumming, Georgia, USA.

Karri Cardinal, DC

San Francisco, California

Dr. Karri Cardinal graduated magna cum laude from Life Chiropractic College West in 1998. While a student at Life West, she was the first female president of the CBP club. As the club president, she taught other chiropractic students the theory and application of CBP. She earned the “Commitment to Excellence Award” in 1997 for this achievement.

After graduation, Dr. Cardinal taught CBP and Advanced CBP at Life Chiropractic College West (2006 to 2009) and Palmer Chiropractic College West (2003 to 2005). For this she was awarded the “Chiropractic Biophysics Outstanding Achievement Award” in 2006.

Dr. Cardinal was named “Chiropractic Biophysics Doctor of the Year” in 2013 for her contributions to the field of Chiropractic Biophysics.

Dr. Cardinal is advanced certified in Chiropractic BioPhysics and has owned and operated a full-time private CBP practice in downtown San Francisco since 1999. Believing that prevention is elemental in maintaining youthfulness and vitality, Dr. Cardinal strives to educate people on health and wellness. In addition to weekly workshops in her office, she has taught at companies such as United Airlines, Whole Foods, Kaiser Hospital, Wells Fargo, W Hotel, UC Berkeley, and Prometheus Real Estate Group.

Dr. Cardinal is happily married with 3 children and enjoys the outdoors. She and her family love backpacking, day hikes, camping, water skiing, winter sports, and spending time at their cabin in South Lake Tahoe.

Tom Green, DC

Lincoln, Nebraska

Thomas L. Green, DC graduated from Logan College in 1984. He has owned and operated a private practice in Lincoln, Nebraska since 1985 and began implementing CBP principles in 1990.

Dr. Green is an Advanced Distinguished Fellow of CBP and has had the privilege of seeing the CBP Technique continue to advance and improve to better serve humanity. He is a Lifetime Member of both the International Chiropractors Association and the Nebraska Chiropractic Physicians Association.

Cynthia Boyd, DC

Alameda, California

Dr. Boyd was inspired by local CBP® practitioners in her home state of NJ to follow her calling and become a chiropractor. She quickly changed her career direction, leaving her undergraduate studies in nursing and psychology, and went on to obtain a bachelor’s degree in Biology with a concentration in pre-chiropractic studies from Bloomfield College in 2001. After completion, she moved to California to begin studies at Life Chiropractic College West, where CBP® was officially offered in the curriculum. During her time there, she maintained all seats on the CBP® club officers’ panel, successfully running the club while practicing CBP principles throughout her internship at the college. With this degree of experience, Dr. Boyd began to develop Symmetry Health Center in Alameda, CA, which has been successfully operating since June of 2006. Dr. Boyd is a Certified CBP® Instructor for CBP® Seminars, and has served as an adjunct instructor in CBP® at Life Chiropractic College West in Hayward, CA. She regularly trains chiropractic interns at her facilities, which provides an environment for students to practice and learn skills that are not standard teachings in chiropractic institutions. She was honored for her work and contributions in CBP® education and received the prestigious Chiropractic BioPhysics® Chiropractor of the Year Award in 2009 at The 31st Annual CBP® Convention.

In 2014, Dr. Boyd bought an existing CBP® practice in Oakland, CA, expanding her model to a two location operation. In 2015, she expanded and moved her Alameda facility to a location which includes a fully functioning Yoga Studio. This space also doubles as a classroom for educational seminars on nutrition, weight loss and other topics related to cutting-edge healthcare. Dr. Boyd is a mother, avid yogi and self-taught chef.

Jason Jaeger, DC

Las Vegas, Nevada

Dr. Jaeger has practiced since 1999 and has been chiropractor in Las Vegas since 2001 where he has brought his passion for health and wellness to the community that he and his family have called home since the late 1940’s.

Dr. Jaeger attended UNLV during his undergraduate program and graduate school at Southern California University of Health Sciences. As class representative and Student American Chiropractic Association Vice President SCUHS chapter, he successfully lobbied in Washington DC for such issues as Medicare and HMO reform.

Dr. Jaeger participated in a rotation through Cal State Northridge’s prestigious Physical Therapy program where he successfully integrated neuro-musculoskelatal therapies on paralysis and stroke victims. He is a Certified Fellow and Instructor in the technique of Chiropractic Biophysics and developer of the Universal Tractioning System.

Dr. Jaeger served as the Southern Nevada Representative to the Nevada Chiropractic Association 2008-2009 where he successfully lobbied for Nevada’s acceptance the PCCRP (Practicing Chiropractors Committee on Radiology Protocols). He has served as the Nevada State Delegate to the ICA (International Chiropractic Association) since 2010. Dr. Jaeger spoke at the 2011 European Chiropractic Union Annual Conference in Zurich on, “Cooperative Methods between Neuro-Surgeons and Chiropractors”.

Dr. Jaeger is licensed to practice Chiropractic in Nevada, Arizona and California and is proud to bring his experience and enthusiasm to the Southern Nevada community. He is a proudly married to his wife Carrie and has two boys, Aden and Sebastian. Dr. Jaeger proudly enjoys an excellent working relationship with many of Southern Nevada’s premier medical surgeons and physicians.

Robert Berry, DC

Montour Falls, New York

Robert Berry graduated with a B.S. in Medical technology and a B.S. in Biology from State University of New York at Fredonia and in 1996 he graduated from NYCC. Dr. Berry started Berry Translations in 1999 and holds a patent on the Berry Lateral Translation Traction unit; used in CBP offices around the world.

Dr. Berry was the past adjunct professor at NYCC from 2000-2002 where he taught the CBP Technique elective course. In 2001, Dr. Berry was named “Chiropractic Biophysics Doctor of the Year” for his contributions to the field of Chiropractic Biophysics. In 2006 he was awarded Chiropractic Biophysic’s Outstanding Achievement Award for his efforts and contributions in the field of chiropractic education. He has been published in the Journal of Vertebral Subluxation and was one of the first doctors in the world to be advanced certified in Chiropractic BioPhysics. He is an instructor for CBP as well.

Dr. Berry has been a member of the International Chiropractor’s Association since 2001 and has owned and operated a full time private Chiropractic practice for 15 years where one of his main treatment focuses is providing high quality CBP Technique procedures to presenting patient populations.

Chiropractic Biophysics Non-profit, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation dedicated to the advancement of chiropractic principles through scientific research. Dr. Don Harrison (deceased) and his second wife Dr. Deanne LJ Harrison (deceased) founded CBP research foundation in 1982; it was registered as CBP Non-Profit, Inc. in 1989 by Dr. Sang Harrison (Don’s 3rd and final life’s love). Through this organization Dr. Don and colleagues have published over 300 peer-reviewed spine and Chiropractic research publications. Further, CBP Non-Profit, Inc. has funded many scholarships as well as donated chiropractic equipment to many chiropractic colleges; always trying to support chiropractic advancement and education.
